"Preaching and Teaching the Word of God"

Our Mission - Our Missionaries

Our Bible gives us guidance concerning our purpose at home in the North Beach area and around the world:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:15
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8

To help us tell the "world" of this "good news" message, we support missionaries that have the same purpose, but different fields.

Our Jerusalem/Judaea is our own community and our state. Our members have our responsibility here; however, we support the following area missionaries:

-Joyce Cunningham is our missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Joyce ministers full-time to the children in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
-Floyd Stevens is our missionary with Rock of Ages Ministries. Floyd ministers full-time as a chaplain at the Walla Walla prison.

Our Samaria is at a greater distance just outside Washington. We support two missionaries in this field:

-Will and Dorothy Rogers are our church planters to the Asian communities in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They previously ministered in Aberdeen.
-Tim and Star Carpenter are our Bible printers with Bearing Precious Seed Ministry in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Our effort to reach the "utter most part of the earth" involves:

-Gary and Nancy Matheny are our long-supported church-planting missionaries to Romania. They previously ministered in Poulsbo.
-Jim and Ari Hirtzel are our church planters to the remote islands of Vanuatu. Their home church is in Chehalis.
-Note: We support another family from Lakewood serving in a restricted field.
